Bernadette Soubirous - the favored child of God who saw His Mother in the grotto of Lourdes. I say "favored", but really it was a tremendously heavy cross to bear throughout her life. Everyone knows "St. Bernadette of Lourdes", but almost nobody knows "Bernadette Soubirous." And then, to really appreciate her, it's important not to just know "about" Bernadette, but to really KNOW her. Though not here on earth any longer, she is a walking, talking breathing imitation of Christ in so many ways...........

The power of the Hail Mary..............

Too often, the real meaning of the Hail Mary is lost. Some people have begun to believe its just "some words" being said, with no real meaning. That cannot be any farther from the truth. Once you start thinking the Immaculate Conception doesn't hear every Hail Mary and isn't pleased when She hears them, then a person can disregard the Hail Mary altogether. Believe me, the Hail Mary IS a prayer that Heaven loves to hear repeated. It means so much to the Virgin when we say it - how much She loves it, is what we will only know in the next life.......

Look to the Grotto........

Trust what you see in the Grotto. Trust what you hear from the Grotto. Her words will be heard in the silence of your heart....

How She rewards who those who act in Her name........
